This Privacy Policy describes how the Zovica App ("App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of our iOS application.
1. Privacy Overview
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App is designed with a "Privacy First" architecture, meaning it functions entirely on your device (locally). We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, audio recordings, or usage information.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect, use, or have access to any of the following:
- Personal Information: Your name, email, phone number, or contacts.
- Identifiers: Device IDs, IDFA (Advertising Identifier), or IDFV.
- Usage Data: Analytics, behavioral data, or browsing history.
- Biometric Data: We do not collect or store any "voiceprints" or biometric identifiers.
- Cloud Storage: Your audio files are never uploaded to any cloud server or database.
We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.
3. Permissions & On-Device Processing
The App requests specific permissions solely to enable its core features. All data processed via these permissions remains strictly on-device.
- Microphone Access: Used solely to record your voice for real-time effects. Recorded audio is processed in temporary memory and is never transmitted off-device.
- Media Library/Files Access: Used only to allow you to select existing audio files for transformation. The App does not scan or index your library.
- Notifications: If enabled, we use local notifications only to provide status updates on your audio processing. No data is sent to external push servers.
4. Background Modes Compliance
The App utilizes the iOS "Background Modes" (Audio, AirPlay, and Picture in Picture) capability. This is used strictly to ensure a seamless user experience, including:
- Allowing audio recording or playback to continue if you temporarily switch apps.
